At Joyroom, we provide reliable, efficient, and flexible international logistics and shipping solutions for our global B2B wholesale partners, distributors, and OEM/ODM clients.

This Shipping & B2B Delivery Terms document outlines our dispatch policies, international trade terms (Incoterms), lead times, and freight responsibilities.

1. International Trade Terms (Incoterms)

  • EXW (Ex Works): The buyer assumes full responsibility for freight collection, export customs clearance, and transit risks from our designated warehouse or factory.
  • FOB (Free on Board): Joyroom handles inland transport, export customs, and loading onto the vessel/aircraft at the designated port of departure (e.g., Shenzhen, Guangzhou, or Hong Kong). The buyer covers ocean/air freight and import duties.
  • CIF / CFR (Cost, Insurance & Freight): Joyroom arranges and pays for shipping and transit insurance to the buyer’s destination port. The buyer handles import clearance and local inland delivery.
  • DDP / DAP (Delivered Duty Paid / Delivered at Place): Available for select countries and small-to-medium wholesale sample orders through trusted express courier partners (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS) or direct line freight forwarders.

To accommodate different procurement needs, Joyroom supports standard international trade terms upon agreement in the Proforma Invoice (PI):

2. Order Processing & Manufacturing Lead Times

Standard production and dispatch lead times vary based on order volume, customization requirements, and inventory availability:

  • In-Stock Wholesale Orders: Dispatched within 3 to 7 business days following confirmation of payment.
  • Standard Bulk Orders (Joyroom Packaging): Production lead time is typically 15 to 25 calendar days after deposit receipt and order confirmation.
  • Custom OEM/ODM Orders: Production lead time ranges from 25 to 35 calendar days, depending on custom packaging design, logo printing, and technical testing specifications.

3. Shipping Methods & Logistics Partners

We collaborate with leading global logistics carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery:

  • Express Air Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT): Ideal for urgent sample orders and small wholesale batches (Estimated transit time: 3 – 7 business days).
  • Air Freight: Recommended for medium-volume orders requiring fast turnaround (Estimated transit time: 5 – 10 business days).
  • Ocean Freight (FCL / LCL): The most cost-effective shipping method for bulk container orders (Estimated transit time: 15 – 40 calendar days, depending on destination port).
  • Rail / Truck Freight: Available for overland transit across Eurasian corridor routes and neighboring regions.

Note: For battery products (e.g., power banks, Bluetooth audio devices), all shipments are packed, labeled, and transported in strict compliance with international UN38.3 and MSDS safety regulations.

4. Shipping Costs, Tariffs & Import Duties

  • Freight Calculation: Unless agreed upon as DDP terms, shipping costs are calculated based on actual package weight, volumetric weight, shipping method, and destination country.
  • Customs Duties & Local Taxes: For EXW, FOB, and CIF shipments, the buyer (importer of record) is solely responsible for paying local customs duties, import tariffs, VAT/GST, and clearance fees required by their local port authorities.

5. Tracking and Shipment Status

Once your bulk order or sample package is dispatched from our warehouse:

  • A official Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), or Express Tracking Number will be provided to your account manager and emailed to you.
  • Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin (e.g., Form E, CO) required for customs clearance will be dispatched via express courier or sent digitally per agreed terms.

6. Transit Insurance & Risk of Loss

  • Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers from Joyroom to the buyer or freight carrier in accordance with the agreed Incoterms (e.g., upon handover to the carrier under EXW/FOB, or upon arrival at the destination port under CIF).
  • Cargo Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive marine/air cargo transit insurance for high-value container shipments. Cargo insurance can be arranged by Joyroom upon written request prior to shipment.

7. Inspection, Transit Damage & Shortage Claims

B2B buyers are requested to inspect all pallets and packages immediately upon arrival:

  1. Exterior Package Damage: Any obvious outer carton damage, tampered security seals, or missing pallets must be documented on the carrier’s Delivery Receipt (POD) before signing.
  2. Filing a Transit Claim: Claims for transit damage or quantity discrepancies must be submitted to Joyroom in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery, accompanied by unboxing photos, carton weight records, and carrier discrepancy notes.
  3. Internal Functional Claims: Concealed functional defects are handled under our official Warranty & RMA Return Policy.
